Yerevan/Mediamax/. Ramil Safarov, who serves a life imprisonment in Hungary for killing Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan, translates novels from Hungarian to Azerbaijani.

“This time he is working on creations of Hungarian classic Ferents Molnar,” Trend reports quoting the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Hungary.

Ramil Safarov has chosen the most famous work of the writer, the novel “The Paul Street Boys”. The translation of the novel will be published in Baku shortly.

The novel “Door” by Hungarian writer Magdo Sabo, translated by Ramil Safarov, has been published earlier.

In February 2004, Ramil Safarov brutally axed 26-year-old Gurgen Margaryan in Budapest while the officer was asleep. Margaryan and Safarov were studying English in the University of National Defense of Hungary within NATO’s “Partnership for Peace” program.

In April 2004, the Budapest Court sentenced the murderer to life imprisonment.
